The main event of the show featured major storylines, including The Bloodline, studded with high spots, intense brawls, and dramatic in-ring confrontations. It broke all records with 145,298 fans from 64 countries in attendance at Lincoln Financial Field over the course of two nights.

The Rock and John Cena faced off against each other at WrestleMania XL, which became the event's most popular attraction.
