Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece is now one of the streaming service’s biggest hits, introducing Eiichiro Oda’s beloved pirate adventure to a new generation of viewers. As the franchise continues to grow beyond the original manga, anime, and live-action series, Netflix has also looked for new ways to bring the Straw Hat Pirates to viewers. The latest additions are a pair of upcoming LEGO ONE PIECE animated specials, further expanding the franchise’s growing footprint on the platform. 

Netflix has now shared one of the biggest updates about the project by revealing which familiar faces will return for the animated adventure. 

Netflix has revealed that the stars of its live-action ONE PIECE adaptation will reprise their roles in the upcoming LEGO ONE PIECE animated specials, as per What's on Netflix. The two-part event, LEGO ONE PIECE: The Stories of Koby & Helmeppo, releases September 29, 2026, with the original voice cast returning to voice LEGO versions of their characters. This announcement further tightens the tie between Netflix’s live-action adaptation and the ever-expanding ONE PIECE universe. 

For the Lego version, Iñaki Godoy will return as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. As per What's on Netflix, the voice cast also includes Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday and Mikaela Hoover as Chopper. They have appeared in season two of the live-action series. Now, they will make their animated debut.

They will join forces to bring the beloved Straw Hat Pirates and important allies to life in LEGO form. Thus, it will mix the performances of the live-action cast with the franchise’s animated charm. Netflix confirmed the cast with a new set of character cards accompanying the announcement. The platform is expanding the ONE PIECE universe by bringing its live-action actors into the LEGO specials.

The upcoming LEGO ONE PIECE specials are just another piece of Netflix’s ongoing effort to expand Eiichiro Oda’s beloved franchise beyond the live-action adaptation. The original cast is returning to voice their LEGO characters, bringing a fresh twist to the ONE PIECE universe. The specials will be coming in September, and fans can anticipate a fun new adventure that pays tribute to one of the longest-running anime and manga series.
