Netflix’s 'Bridgerton' Extends Its Roster With 3 New Cast Members Joining for Season 5

According to Netflix's press release, Bridgerton Season 5 is welcoming these three exciting new cast members to the Regency stage. The new lineup hold everything from Regency Era Casanova's to tender confidates and spiritied matriarchs.
Tega Alexander as Christopher Anderson Tega Alexander: Alexander arrives as Christopher Anderson, a Regency Casanova whose confidence hides tender insecurities. Previously seen in Mobland and Netflix’s The Sandman, he will bring charm and complexity to Season 5.
Jacqueline Boatswain as Helen Stirlin: Boatswain plays the part of the spirited and protective mother of Michaela, guiding her daughter through the social season with vivaciousness and firm guidance. Her credits include Carnival Row, The Diplomat, and acclaimed stage roles at the National Theatre and Donmar Warehouse.
Gemma Knight Jones as Lady Elizabeth Ashworth: Jones will portray Lady Elizabeth Ashworth, Michaela’s confidante and social guide, blending charm with grounded wisdom. Gemma has appeared in Mobland, Andor, EastEnders, and numerous theatre productions, proving her stage and screen versatility.
As of now, filming for Bridgerton Season 5 has officially begun, with Hannah Dodd and Masali Baduza leading as Francesca Bridgerton and Michaela Stirling. Most of the beloved Bridgerton cast, including Luke Thompson, Yerin Ha, Claudia Jessie, Ruth Gemmell, Golda Rosheuvel, and Adjoa Andoh, are expected to return, while Anthony and Kate Bridgerton may keep appearing just through words.

Along with that, Christopher Anderson, the Regency-era Casanova, will challenge the Bridgerton bachelors, bringing flirtation, charm, and complexity to London society. With these aspects, society will buzz with rivalry, scandal, and romantic mischief as the season unfolds.
