Now the streaming platform has aimed for bigger events and has successfully bagged one of the biggest boxing showdowns of this year between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.

It has been recently announced by Netflix and Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and president of the Saudi Boxing Federation, that this year, the super fight for Ring Magazine will be held on September 13. The anticipated fight will be streamed live universally straight from Las Vegas for all Netflix subscribers, and there will be no additional charges. Also present on the occasion will be the UFC president, Dana White. Earlier, another date of Friday, September 12, was originally decided, but the fight has been pushed a day ahead, with the timings not revealed yet.

Canelo Alvarez is the Ring Championship’s number eight pound-for-pound boxer and has been reigning as the champion in the weight class of 168 pounds, while Terence Crawford is the boxer to become the undisputed champion in two weight classes in the four-belt era. Before that, the three-city press tour for the Riyadh Season will start on June 20 in Riyadh and will end two days later in New York, adding more to the fan craze.
