14-year-old Nell Fisher had not even watched the show when she auditioned for Stranger Things season 5. Now, she has quite clearly mastered the right way to dodge the monsters in her debut in the show with little help from her co-stars. What many may not know is how the cast, including Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard, had helped her out behind the scenes, too. 

As Stranger Things season 5 gets closer to its last episode, Nell Fisher opened up about how those words of wisdom will stay with her for a long time. 

The entire cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and Gaten Matarazzo, were very young when they debuted in the season. While over the years their characters made a huge impact, their personal life was also impacted. 

Millie Bobby Brown, who stars as Eleven in Stranger Things, has always made it clear that she should be allowed to grow as a person apart from the roles that made her famous. When asked about Millie Bobby Brown’s opinion, Nell Fisher agreed and admitted that she believes the same.

“Especially when you grow up on a show, and in the public eye, it can be hard to A) become your own person, but B) further your career outside of, “I’m the Stranger Things girl,”” she said. “It’s mainly staying true to your work and what you do, and saying, “I am an actor.””

She shared more details about her career in her interview with Bustle. When it comes to early fame, Nell Fisher’s career is very similar to Millie Bobby Brown and most of the members who were very young when they debuted in the show. Nell Fisher is just 14 and plays the role of Holly Wheeler in the series. 

Her character is quite an important part of the season 5 plot after she is taken away by Vecna, who posed as Mr. Whatsit. Moreover, Nell Fisher has shown her best performance for the series.

 Now, the rest of the cast, who are older and wiser, seemed to have given a few pieces of advice to Nell Fisher. 

Nell Fisher, who joined Stranger Things Season 5 to play the role of Holly Wheeler, is known for her performance in Resident Evil. While she is still new to this fame, Nell Fisher revealed how Finn Wolfhard’s one advice was crucial to her.

During an interview with PEOPLE, she shared that Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike in Stranger Things, was very supportive of her and his biggest advice on how to say ‘No’ nicely. He explained that it was important to protect personal time, especially for a young actor who is always surrounded by work and public attention.

She also recalled a dinner with Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, and Gaten Matarazzo, when the IT star had politely refused a fan’s request to click for a photo during his personal time. Not just the memories that she made during this show, but also this advices from her co-stars will stay with her for a long time.
