This will be the final case for the Los Angeles-based defense attorney! Famous Netflix legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer is all set to bid goodbye after its fifth season. With this, it joins the growing list of recent shows ending with a fifth as its final chapter. But as the series heads toward its end, the stakes are only getting higher and promises more intense courtroom drama, legal gambits, scandals, and much more.

While the fifth season, featuring its brilliant cast along with several new additions, is currently in production, showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez have promised to give a deserving ending to the much-loved legal drama.

The Lincoln Lawyer will return with Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller in Season 5. The show, based on the famous 2005 novel by Michael Connelly, is currently filming in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez have announced that the upcoming season will be the show’s final chapter, along with a heartfelt message to fans, as reported by Deadline.

“All good things must come to an end, but thankfully sometimes how they come to an end is up to us,” the message read.

“We promise you, we are right now building a final season that will provide the satisfying finale Mickey Haller deserves. We can’t wait to share it with you!” they concluded their lengthy message. 

Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Cobie Smulders are also set to return to the show’s final ride. Apart from the familiar faces such as Neve Campbell and Krista Warner, new faces will join the show this season. Nate Corddry, Tricia Helfer, Amy Aquino, Angela Trimbur, Elpidia Carillo, and Keir O’Donnell will join the cast.

This new season is based on Resurrection Walk, which is the seventh novel in Michael Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer book series.
