Meet The Cast Of 'Salvador': The Stars Leading Netflix's 2026 Spanish Action Series

Violence does not often occur suddenly, but it is silently accumulating as a result of anger, fear, and broken identities. When it eventually bursts, it leaves lives changed permanently. The tales that are based on such pressure require more than spectacle; they need to have performances that are capable of bearing weight in both moments of chaos and stillness.

This is the force that will characterize the next Spanish action-drama, then titled Salvador, which is expected to be released by Netflix in 2026. The series is created to address harsh facts directly, and it has to rely on the stories told by characters.

Though a high-concept premise can be appealing, it is the cast that will cause the effect to stick, and when it comes to defining what confrontation will turn to consequence, it is the one where Salvador can pull a lineup together.

Faces behind the conflict: The ensemble powering Salvador

Heading the lineup is Luis Tosar as Salvador Aguirre, one of the most admirable actors in Spain, who is credited with bringing volatile content home without expressing it emotionally. Tosar has made a career of playing morally ambiguous male characters who are lived in, not written, and traditionally, that is no different in a role that requires both physical effort and silent destruction.

Opposing him is Claudia Salas as Milena, who has created an impression with her last performance, making her one of the most interesting young artists on Spanish television. Salas also adds a sharp energy that is unpredictable, which is a contrast to the controlled presence of Tosar.

The cast of Salvador is completed by veteran actors Leonor Watling, Fariba Sheikhan, and Patricia Vico, all of whom are not afraid of playing women who are in charge of space without being excessive. Their presence indicates that Salvador is not influenced by one way of thinking, but rather by overlaps of opinions and looks at the story in all directions.

But how do these performances connect to the story Salvador is preparing to tell?

The plot of Salvador

Salvador centers on Salvador Aguirre, an ambulance driver whose ordinary life collapses in a single night. A violent confrontation between radical football supporters spirals out of control, pulling him into a world he never imagined he would have to face. Amid the chaos, Salvador rescues his injured daughter, Milena, only to uncover a devastating truth about her involvement.

Milena is part of an ultra-group whose ideology is rooted in racism, violence, and homophobic beliefs that directly contradict the values Salvador raised her with. The discovery forces him into an impossible position: watching his child disappear deeper into extremism or stepping into that dangerous world himself.

The series follows Salvador as he infiltrates the neo-N--- group from within, driven by two urgent goals to pull his daughter away from a path of destruction and to understand what led her to embrace such hatred in the first place. Created by Aitor Gabilondo and directed by Daniel Calparsoro, the eight-episode drama was filmed entirely on location in Madrid, grounding its tension in a stark, realistic setting.

Carried by a cast of seasoned Spanish performers, Salvador blends action with psychological intensity, presenting a narrative that confronts radicalization not as an abstract concept, but as a personal and devastating reality.
