The first volume of The Witcher season 3 shows a lot going on simultaneously. Everyone is fighting a secret battle to get or protect Ciri. In order to protect the Princess of Cintra, one of the key episodes is The Art of Illusion. Henry Cavill and Anya Chalorta, as their respective characters, unveil a dark truth during the conclave at Thanedd. While as exciting as the entire episode was, the creation of the same was even more interesting, according to the director, Loni Peristere.

Valdo Marx, the new bard in the series, sings a song named ‘All Is Not As It Seems’. True to the lyrics of the song, the entire episode gives us a new truth until the end. And the American director, Loni Peristere, talked about the behind-the-scenes of the episode and the involvement of the actors. Just like the 40-year-old actor, Peristere himself is a fan of the books and the game. Therefore, when he worked with Cavill and Chalorta, he considered it a blessing while posting a beautiful picture from the other side of the sets.

He talked about how deeply both actors cared for the source material, as he praised the representation of their characters as well. After Joey Batey’s confession, Peristere also revealed not only Cavill, but Chalorta also gave her 100 percent all the time. He chose the specific picture to represent the warmth and familial creative culture that these two brought to the film sets.

The Art of Illusion happens to have an enormous conclave at Aretuza. Therefore, the hall must be filled with a lot of people dancing. While talking about the British actors, Peristere also admitted to having creative challenges during the filming. They had the entire cast working and dancing across the interestingly exciting night.

But again, it depends on the approach toward the difficulties. And the director said, “It was a wonderful challenge and truly a joy to make.” As we previously reported, the final season of the Enola Holmes actor will see an interesting turn of events in Geralt and Yennefer’s love story, a glimpse of which was seen in Volume 1. Slowly and steadily, the season is moving towards that, along with a lot of adventures going on hand in hand.
