“Oh my jeepers😭💜 I can’t believe life is real I could cry all over again just looking at this announcement. So thankful, SO excited. 🚙🔎💜,” she wrote alongside a childhood photo of her dressed head-to-toe as Daphne.

The casting was first reported by Deadline, and it carries a layer of poetic inevitability. Grace previously voiced Daphne in the animated feature Scoob! in 2020, effectively auditioning for the live-action mantle years in advance.
