On the last day of filming season 3, Henry Cavill was physically not in great shape. Before saying a last goodbye to his Geralt, the British actor got the company of his on and off-screen friend, Joey Batey. While the cast of Netflix’s historic drama was shocked by the news, the trusted bard from the series stayed with his friend on the last day as he revealed how the 40-year-old managed to pay back his iconic White Wolf.

Many times, the Enola Holmes actor has been praised for his constant dedication and sincerity in his roles. And Geralt is no exception. Until the end, Henry Cavill tried to give everything he had to his remarkable character, Geralt. Joey Batey, Jaskier in the show, talked to Yahoo about the last day of his co-star on the sets. While expressing his emotions, Batey revealed despite finishing his shoot early, he wanted to be there for Cavill. As he remembered the day, he added, “Even in the final day with that exhaustion and fatigue, he was giving it everything that he had for these huge fight scenes.”
