The third season of Ginny & Georgia saved Georgia’s fate from an imminent conviction for charges of murder. Ginny, along with Austin, went to great lengths to save her mother during the trial. But whatever they did in season 3 must cost them in the upcoming season. There had been several updates on the production of the latest season since Netflix announced it in October 2025. Now there is a brand new update that makes the wait for season four even more anticipatory.

The update comes directly from the showrunner of Ginny & Georgia, Sarah Lampert, who's teases have given a new peek at the upcoming season.

Following the completion of filming, Sarah Lampert, the showrunner of Ginny & Georgia, shared her reaction to the final edit of the season in a video. She expresses her joy about the final product, which seems to have come out amazing. She has piqued everyone’s interest now with her reactions.

"It’s so good. I’m in the edit. You’re gonna all freak out, the edit is amazing,” Lampert says in the video, giving something to look forward to about the season. She further adds that she finds editing the most enjoyable aspect of the whole production process. It allows one to really immerse oneself in the performance and see the various micro-facial expressions that each performer makes.

Although there is no official release date attached to the fourth season yet, there is a possibility the series may return before the end of 2026, seeing that filming for the season concluded between March 6 and March 8, according to What's On Netflix. If not, then a 2027 debut seems probable. The future plans of the sitcom are still unclear, and there is no indication of a fifth season, since seasons three and four were renewed concurrently.

Focusing on the impending fourth season, there is an expansion in the cast, which means the audience will get to meet new characters. 

The new additions to the Ginny & Georgia season 4 cast include Ali Skovbye as Rainn, Kataem O'Connor as Isaiah, and Sunny Mabrey as Daisy. Daisy is actually Georgia's mother, though it should be mentioned that different actors have already played her in the series. Character specifics are being kept under wraps. 

Season 4 will see the return of Jennifer Robertson, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark, Nathan Mitchell, Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Felix Mallard, and Sara Waisglass. With the new and old cast looking to charm the viewers in the upcoming season, as suggested by showrunner Sarah Lampert, Ginny & Georgia season 4 release will be eagerly anticipated now.
