“It’s a very very odd flip…” – ‘Bridgerton’s Rege-Jean Page Opens Up About the Changes the Netflix Drama Brought in His Life

Lady Whistledown is here to tell you how she changed the life of Simon Basset.
The actor who portrayed the character is none other than Regé-Jean Page, who got
a lot of love and admiration from fans of the show. Recently, he appeared on The
Late Show with Stephen Colbert and opened up about how he had to flip his
personality once he got fame.

During the Regency era in England, eight close-knit siblings of the influential
Bridgerton family try to find love. Their interestingly sizzling affairs,
colorful costumes, lavish houses, and grand and dreamy balls embrace you in
their charm. One other thing that charmed the viewers is the actor from the
first season of the Netflix Original, Simon Basset.

While Page didn’t return to the Netflix show

it proved to be the biggest break for the actor. As he opened up about it, he
said he was learning to handle all the insane fame that he got.

He also talked about how the show changed his career. Recently, he was shooting
for his film, Dungeons and Dragons, in Belfast. As he was going from the airport
to his hotel, he heard on the radio about a competition. It was about finding
the actor. Well, while a couple of people found him, they kept him quiet for his
privacy’s sake. However, the actor talked about how he had to flip his
personality. After Bridgerton, people at the sets treated him normally while the
public became the performance space. “It’s a very very odd flip,” said the
actor.
