The Straw Hats have travelled a long journey across the Grand Line and the New World, fighting formidable enemies while forming heartwarming friendships along the way. Amid these adventures, the crew has never forgotten the true treasure they seek, the One Piece. While the One Piece anime is currently on hiatus and the live-action series gears up for Season 2, Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hats in the manga are finally on the final stretch of their journey in search of the ultimate mysterious treasure.

With the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, hinting that the truth will finally be revealed by the end of the story, IShowSpeed has already begun asking fans for help.

Just recently, the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, shared a video message confirming that One Piece truly exists in his world and will be revealed by the end of the story. In the video, which shows Oda’s studio, he is seen writing the truth on a piece of paper before tearing it in half. He then locks one half inside a chest and throws it into the ocean.

After the clip began circulating online, IShowSpeed reshared the post on X and jokingly asked for help.

“looking for 30-50 good men,” he wrote.

He is seemingly calling on fans to hunt for the treasure or perhaps recover the missing half of the paper now lost somewhere in the ocean. However, the latter may not be fruitful, as only half of the truth lies in the depths of the ocean. Fans will still have to wait for the story to end to discover the One Piece.

Oda’s video message, which was shared to celebrate the milestone of 600 million copies of the One Piece manga sold worldwide, ends with the artist returning to his desk in the studio. Until the secret is finally revealed, fans will continue to follow the Straw Hats on their journey through the manga while also keeping up with the anime and the live-action adaptation which is all set for release on March 10.

Meanwhile, the entire cast has been actively promoting the series while sharing small hints about the upcoming season.

Iñaki Godoy hints at an emotional arc in One Piece Season 2

One Piece season 2 will take the Straw Hats further into their journey while introducing new faces and their stories. As many are aware, almost all the characters have intriguing backstories that are both emotional and inspiring, and according to Iñaki Godoy, the saddest is probably Chopper's.

“Some of these One Piece characters have been through a lot. I think maybe Chopper's. Chopper's story's quite sad….I'm gonna say Chopper,” Godoy said in his interview with Wired.

The blue-nosed reindeer’s journey, from being abandoned to eventually finding the motivation to become a doctor, is both emotional and inspiring. The same can be said of the journeys of several other characters, such as Nico Robin, whose powerful backstories will also be brought to life in the live-action adaptation of One Piece. So, with more stories and adventures, the Straw Hats will soon sail further into the seas.
