Baseball is not the only thing swinging for the fences; Netflix has been taking mighty cuts at sports entertainment too. While romance, thrillers, and true crime still headline its library, the streamer has quietly built an impressive sports catalog. Formula 1: Drive to Survive reshaped fan culture, The Last Dance became appointment viewing, and exclusive National Football League Christmas Day games proved Netflix is no stranger to marquee sporting spectacles.

No wonder Major League Baseball fans keep asking whether the All-Star Game has also found its way onto Netflix's growing sports roster.

If your game-day snacks are ready, keep the Netflix app closed for this one. The Major League Baseball All-Star Game airs nationally on FOX Sports, with live streaming available through the FOX Sports App, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Fubo. Netflix is watching this matchup from the dugout, not broadcasting it.

The confusion is easy to understand because Netflix did score one impressive home run. The streaming giant owns the exclusive global rights to the Major League Baseball Home Run Derby, beginning in 2026. That means the Derby swings onto Netflix, while the Midsummer Classic remains firmly on FOX Sports.

The story is much the same across other major American leagues. The National Basketball Association All-Star Game belongs to NBC and Peacock, not Netflix. Although the streamer has embraced blockbuster sports documentaries and select live events, the biggest All-Star Games still play elsewhere.

As fans bounce from wondering whether Little House on the Prairie is a true story to whether Major League Baseball is on Netflix, the streamer still has a few titles that can plug that All-Star Game-shaped hole.

Netflix titles to watch instead of All-Star Game

Missing the Major League Baseball All-Star Game does not mean Netflix leaves sports fans warming the bench. The streamer serves up the 2026 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, lets Michael Jordan dominate again in The Last Dance, and follows National Basketball Association stars like LeBron James and Jayson Tatum in Starting 5. There is plenty of star power before the first pitch elsewhere.

The lineup keeps rolling with Brad Pitt's Moneyball, Adam Sandler's Hustle, the spirited basketball comedy Running Point starring Kate Hudson, and the heartfelt Rez Ball. They might not replace baseball's biggest summer showcase, but they certainly make waiting for the next All-Star Game a far more entertaining interlude.
