Much like Stranger Things, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen also has the same spine-chilling energy. It is also the first series from Upside Down Pictures after the end of Stranger Things. That said, aside from sharing the Duffer Brothers as executive producers, the two shows are not connected.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is an independent series, with no narrative ties to Stranger Things. However, soon, doubts and paranoia creep into Rachel’s mind, and she begins to question what a perfect match means.
