If there is anyone who can convert a pencil into a lethal weapon, it is John Wick. He is the type who will bring hell on earth if you mess with his nice and quiet private life. Next to mere mortals, he appears like a demigod who can fight his way out of any ugly situation. 

And how can one forget about Keanu Reeves, who brought the iconic character to life with his impressive acting and unbelievable agility for someone his age? With John Wick, director Chad Stahelski has truly created something very special in the action movie genre.

However, among the plethora of installments, John Wick: Chapter 4 comes out as a fan favourite, as proven by its highest rating in the franchise. And that is exactly why it is constantly being scoured for as a streaming gem.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is available on Amazon Prime Video and on Apple TV for rent. Fans can use either of those two platforms to stream this prized jewel of the franchise. However, it is not on Netflix or any other streaming platform, for that matter, apart from the two mentioned above.

The movie has a brilliant rating, including a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and 93% fresh on the Tomatometer. It also has a great 7.6 on IMDB and a 78 on Metacritic. In terms of reception statistics, the movie does not disappoint.

Talking about the plot, Chapter 4 starts just after the events of Parabellum. Now, John Wick's main focus is to get rid of the High Table and end everything for good. But for that to happen, he would have to face some new antagonists played by Bill Skarsgård and Donnie Yen. For someone with a soft spot for globe-trotting high-action cinema, the film is likely a staple.

But after witnessing this masterpiece, one is bound to be left wondering - what more is left for the franchise to offer after so much already seen over the years? 

As of January 2024, creator-director Chad Stahelski is known to have assumed complete creative control over any upcoming John Wick spinoffs following The Continental's lackluster reception. One of the primary reasons for the reception had been the stunt master Stahelski and Keanu Reeves' absence from the show, hence giving hope for the franchise's future. 

With Reeves in the lead role, John Wick 5 is also in the works. He will also provide the voice of a character in a new John Wick anime prequel. Whether Sofia Al-Azwar, played by Halle Berry, will be the subject of another spinoff, however, has not been verified yet.

This is a lot to take in, and at the same time, a call for celebration for the ardent fans of the franchise. The wait now is to see how everything unfolds and to hope for the best outcome for one of the most cherished action movie franchises in the history of cinema. All with the aid of a streamable John Wick: Chapter 4, nonetheless.
