Since December 2024, the whole OG seven-season series has been available on Hulu thanks to a licensing deal. Even though Netflix has not announced an official removal notice at this point, a renewal or extension is still possible. If the original series does depart, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will likely stay on the platform because it was made as a Netflix original, so fans will lose the original run but possibly not the revival.
