some of the greatest films ever made. With directors such as Bong Joon-ho and
Park Chan-wook, their films always are a must for any movie-goer. But now it
seems that Korean TV shows are also getting a piece of fame. At the SAG Awards
last night, the internationally-acclaimed and successful Korean show got to go
home big!

HIS COMMENTS ON THE HISTORIC WIN

Well, it is a no-brainer that a win in this significant category is no less than
historic. But it also shows that the SAG jury accepts foreign work and even
chooses them over their indigenous nominations.

In the backstage interview [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfbhFpxqpUI], the
winner Lee Jung Jae talked about how this win will open opportunities for the
Korean film industry. He said, “I think it’s just the beginning. There [is] a
lot of amazing Korean content that’s just as entertaining and touching as Squid
Game,” he said via an interpreter, “so I ask that you look out for [it], show us
a lot of love and continue to watch a lot of great Korean content.”

This is a really big step for Netflix as well as the Korean industry. What do
you feel about the win? Have you streamed

Jung Jae received the deserved accolades with the SAG award? Let us know in the
