Ryan Reynolds and Robert McElhenney are finally seeing the results of their hard work with Wrexham. Little did the Hollywood duo know how famous their team would get in a short amount of time. Granted, it was their hard work with the PR and restoration of the club that brought effects. But their team players have put their best foot forward by bringing home a trophy.

Despite becoming a dad again for the fourth time, the Deadpool actor was at The Racecourse Ground, cheering for the women’s team for the Genero Adran North cup. When the team was victorious, both the owners ran to the ground to show their love for this emotional victory.

The Wrexham team did not merely make sounds for their celebrity owners, but also for their amazing players. As per Mirror, the Wrexham Women’s team won the Adran North Title by being victorious in their match against Rhyl Ladies F.C. Team player Rosie Huges was overwhelmed with the win as she spoke to the media post-match. She explained the win as ‘crazy’ and ‘surreal’. As the happiness grew heavy, Reynolds and McElhenney jumped on the screen to share their words of encouragement. “I can’t imagine how she’s feeling, it hit us, hit us pretty hard,” said the Deadpool actor.

Seven thousand people filled the ground to show support for the women’s game. Reynolds himself wants to see the women’s teams grow. He had taken his three daughters, Inez, James, and Betty to watch the match on Sunday.
