Kanye West, who now goes by the name Ye, is one of the industry’s most influential hip-hop artists. The Atlanta-born star rose to fame with his debut studio album The College Dropout in 2004. The fashion designer has won 22 Grammys and 75 nominations, the joint tenth-most of all time to date. Moreover, he is one of the best-selling music artists, with over 160 million records sold.

Meanwhile, he also has a reputation for speaking his mind publicly, regardless of the consequences. Kanye West changed his song lyrics after hearing Eminem

You all might remember the 2009 music video Forever, in which four great rappers of America came together to make a song. Drake, Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil Wayne wrote their parts and performed them in the video. But as we all know, Eminem is known for stealing the limelight when it comes to music. So when Ye heard his verse, he was left astounded and decided to change his song script.

“When I heard Eminem’s verse on the Drake shit, I went back and rewrote my shit for two days, I cancelled appointments to rewrite! I f**kin’ care,” explained the Donda singer.

Later, the Infinite singer also talked about his part in an interview with Complex. He also praised his collaborators and how West and Wayne were great.

“I just saw the beat differently than anybody else did; for some reason, I felt like the beat was a double-time beat, so I rapped faster,” remarked the 50-year-old singer.

Eminem is a critically acclaimed artist who popularized hip hop in middle America, which can be clearly told by his music. Forever released as a single from LeBron James’ documentary More Than A Game. Meanwhile, the song became the most downloaded tune and peaked on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart after release. Even today, it is referred as the greatest posse cut in rap history.
