Hugh Jackman recently posted a video on his Instagram gallery asking fans to take precautions for sun exposure. In the video, the actor had a bandage on his nose as he went through two biopsies for basal cell carcinoma (BCC). The 54-year-old addressed viewers directly because his banded nose started spreading rumors. He confirmed to fans with his composed message that there is nothing to worry about because results have not come yet.

Jackman continued that BCC is “the least dangerous” type of skin cancer and occurs when the skin gets in direct contact with the sun. This can be easily treated as it only causes minimal damage as it did him. However, the Emmy winner still wanted to alert people around the globe because summer is coming.
So people should apply a good amount of sunscreen before going outdoors or getting tanned on the beachside. Notably, the Bad Education star is now bearing with the consequences of spending his childhood in sunny Australia. Meanwhile, fans who are still concerned about the diagnosis or result must not worry because he is safe.

The Les Misérables star recently revealed the results on his social media thanking everyone for all the love and support. In his Instagram Story, he wrote that the biopsies had returned with a negative result. Therefore, he doesn’t have skin cancer. While he once again urged people to never forget to wear sunscreen that has a high level of SPF in it.
