How an 18-Year-Old Freya Allan Chalked Ciri From ‘The Witcher’ as a Role Model for Young Girls in 2019

Freya Allan is best known for her role in the Netflix adaptation of Andrzej
Sapkowski’s book The Witcher [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/]. The
show made her an instant star when people watched her in the avatar of Princess
Cirilla. Though fans focused on the portrayal of Henry Cavill
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] as Geralt of Rivia, this young
actress was not any less. She established her unique image among all the famed
faces with her impeccable performance and garnered fans around the globe.

Today, this beauty has become an inspiration for the world, showcasing her
talent and dedication. But there was a time when the actress considered her
character as a role model for young girls.

FREYA ALLAN SAW CIRI AS AN ICON FOR YOUNG GIRLS

Back in 2019, Freya Allan sat down with The Witcher TV for a round table session
[https://thewitcher.tv/interview-with-freya-allan] to talk about her career.
During this interview, she was asked about what she loved most about portraying
the role of Ciri. In her response, the British star expressed her admiration for
the character. The princess has exceptional qualities; she said, and that young
girls should watch her for inspiration. According to her, Ciri has always
respected her opinion and never shied away from making herself heard. She said,
” She’s definitely a brave character, but it’s shown realistically.”

Continuing, she said that people have tried to confuse and manipulate her,
trying to tell her what path she should choose in the future. But the character
did not fall into that trap and ultimately took things into her own hands,
deciding what she would do with her life. So the 22-year-old felt that young
people should learn that thing from her and believe in themselves instead of
letting others decide their future.

It was the moment that filled the young girl with the strength to take her own
decision without the help of Geralt and Yennefer.

ALLAN AND CIRI BOTH FOUND POWER IN THE DESERT

In June, this year Freya Allan spoke to Digital Spy about the grueling shoot
that took place in Morocco. The actress revealed that filming those scenes came
as an enormous challenge. But those moments gave her a new kind of strength that
she never experienced before. “We were battling with 45 degrees. It was
genuinely a challenge for me, not just Ciri,” she added.

her character was battling with her own mind in the desert. So fans now know the
secret of how this beauty manages to portray Ciri. She has noticed all the tiny
details of the princes to embody her and learn new things for her.
