Has ‘The Witcher’ Season 4 Started Filming Yet? All We Know of the Production Status So Far

Season 3 of The Witcher [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/] fell short
of fantasy lovers’ expectations by deviating from the original books and merging
multiple subplots, resulting in a disappointing reception. However, it concluded
with a hint of redemption, paving the way for another season to address the
shortcomings. While Ciri’s development and the Falka angle intrigued viewers.
One of the lingering points of interest will be Netflix’s explanation for
recasting Henry Cavill [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/], keeping
hopes alive for future improvements in the series.

To stay on track with Season 4, the enthusiasts were eager to know if the wheels
were in motion for the next installment.

WHAT IS COOKING WITH THE WITCHER 4?

Excitement bubbled among The Witcher lovers when rumblings of a fourth season
emerged. This was soon after the news broke about Cavill’s exit and Liam
Hemsworth’s casting as the new Geralt. Alongside this revelation, the
confirmation of Season 5 heightened anticipation, promising fresh plotlines and
characters. Joey Batey hinted at something extraordinary brewing in Season 4,
teasing the much-awaited “hanza” moment that fans had longed to witness.

WAG and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Initially slated for a September 2023 start, reports
suggested filming delays. Now it might begin on an unknown date in 2024. This
will elongate the wait for the new season until 2025, leaving devoted fans on
tenterhooks.
