Guy Richie’s Henry Cavill Starrer Movie Gets Picked by Lionsgate and Prime Video

The European film market has set off with good news for Guy Richie. While Henry Cavill may not return as Superman, his thriller action film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is already making a buzz. The star-studded project has already managed to get picked by Lionsgate and Prime Video for its distribution.

The flick is estimated to have a theatrical release by 2024. Its target to release on domestic and international levels has already been set in motion thanks to the acquisitions made by the companies with a multi-million deal. Here is what the global distribution of the World War II movie will look like.

A look into how and where the World War II-based Henry Cavill movie will release

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare has been secured and had its distribution rights sold. As per Deadline, Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights of the true story-based flick. The American-Canadian company will distribute the film domestically. On the other hand, Prime Video made paid in eight-figures for distributing the film internationally. These include countries like India, Latin America, South Africa, and an Asian OTT platform called PayTV.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group vice-chair Adam Fogelson mentioned how excited he was to team up with again and present the talented cast to the viewers. Now, the film was set to begin photography and shoot soon, the earthquake in Turkey brought some halt. But Richie assured of his support to the crew and the people of the country as the film.
