'Go Team!' On Netflix: Everything to Know About the Cast, Plot, and Release Date

A team-building retreat is supposed to strengthen workplace bonds and be a much-needed break from the daily grind for the employees. However, things can go south pretty quickly if there is a competition in the picture. Netflix's new dark comedy Go Team! turns employees’ ordinary and boring retreat quickly into one of the most chaotic trips with rivalry, betrayals, and plenty of laughs.
Now that the movie finally has a release date, here is everything to know about the cast, plot, and release date of the dark comedy.
Release date of Go Team!
Go Team! is a Spanish dark comedy film titled Gracias, equipo. The movie was initially announced as part of Netflix’s January lineup, but it now has a new release date. It is set to arrive on the streaming platform on September 11, 2026. The film is produced by Zeta Studios, the company behind Netflix hits such as Elite.

Now, before the office rivalry can begin on Netflix, here is a look at what started the chaotic team retreat.
Plot of Go Team!
Go Team! follows the company, Tío Mochales, which was once home to one of Spain’s most famous cheeses. But now, cut to the present day, the company has lost much of its former glory, and all that remains is its name, while its employees go about their ordinary lives. That changes when the team heads to a rural town for a team-building retreat at the place where the company was originally founded.
It was meant to bring back the lost glory of the team. However, what begins as an attempt to bring the employees together quickly turns into a chaotic battleground when they discover that mass layoffs could be coming up soon. Now the coworkers are pitted against one another in a fierce fight for survival, and that brings intense rivalries, betrayals, and plenty of unexpected chaos.
Moreover, a talented cast is part of the movie, who bring the bizarre characters to life.

Alexandra Jiménez as Olga: Alexandra Jiménez has previously appeared in The Innocent and 53 domingos.
Maribel Verdú as Pepa: Many might be familiar with Maribel Verdú, who appeared in Elite. She also starred in The Final Problem.
Pedro Casablanc as Domingo: The Moroccan-born actor has previously appeared in Under the Rose. He also starred in Black Widow and Salvador
Raúl Tejón as Marco: Tejón is known for his roles in Alpha Males and The Girl in the Mirror.
Blanca Martínez as Laura: Blanca Martínez is a Spanish actress. She previously appeared in Breathless and In Love All Over Again.

Ismael Fritschi (Infiesto) and Víctor Rebull (The Girl in the Mirror) are also part of the cast, while Saturnino García and Pepe Viyuela are expected to make an appearance. And if the story is anything to go by, the retreat is unlikely to be a smooth bonding experience. The team will face more hurdles, and that certainly promises several hilarious moments, which could make it one of the most promising international titles on the streaming platform.
