During his journey as Geralt, Henry Cavill
[http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] came across a lot of monsters and
thrilling adventures. However, he announced the ending of his adventures while
handing over the medallion and swords to Liam Hemsworth. The third season of The
Witcher is just a day away from landing on Netflix. And our very own Ciri has
revealed, along with Jaksier and Yennefer, how they got the news of their
co-star’s exit from the show.

The Witcher [http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/] cast is busy promoting
the third season at various places. Joey Batey, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalorta
had a conversation with RadioTimes [https://t.co/3hyPSzvy8A] during their tour.
Freya Allan, who plays Geralt’s Child Surprise and Cirilla of Cintra, confessed
how they got the news about the British actor’s departure. She revealed they got
the news after a few months of wrapping up the filming. Additionally, she also
declared, “It was a surprise to us all.”

Allan’s reaction of surprise to the news was something all of Henry Cavill’s
followers could relate to. Even though the news was difficult to accept, the
young actress also said they are emphasizing the hard work of the actors. While
processing the news, they are focusing on celebrating everyone’s work. It is not
the first time The Witcher cast opened up about the Enola Holmes actor’s
departure from the show.

Joey Batey once revealed the 40-year-old actor carried the show on his shoulder.
Geralt’s on-screen love interest, Yennefer portrayed by Anya Chalorta, also
expressed her sadness. However, all the cast members are also excited to move
forward and see what Liam Hemsworth will do with Geralt of Rivia.

THE CAST MEMBERS, INCLUDING HENRY CAVILL, ARE EXCITED ABOUT LIAM HEMSWORTH
TAKING OVER THE ROLE

The Tudors star broke the news about his departure with a heavy heart. But he
expressed his happiness about Hemsworth taking over the role. Moreover, recently
Joey Batey also talked about how much excited he was to see Hemsworth working
for the role already. And during this recent interview, Freya Allan also
expressed her excitement at having The Hunger Games actor on board.

However, it might be a little awkward for the actress as she also admitted she
rooted for Peeta Mellark instead of Gale Hawthorne
