Now, it is bringing another tense story through Firebreak. The newest trailer of the thriller movie already teases complex emotions, dangerous secrets, and threats hiding in the wild, and the possibility of losing a loved one.

Titled Cortafuego in Spanish, Firebreak begins with Mara and her daughter Lide visiting their family’s summer house following the death of Mara’s husband, and they are joined by her brother-in-law, Luis, his wife, Elena, and her son. While the family gathers to revisit old memories and for the sale of the house, things quickly take a frightening turn when Lide suddenly disappears in the wild with a forest fire closing in.

With no help from officials and the fire rapidly approaching, Mara must turn to forest ranger Santi for help. What follows is a tense and emotional race against time and dangerous secrets. This tense thriller will be brought to life by an impressive cast.

Produced by Espotlight Media, Anxo Rodríguez, and Ferran Tomás, Firebreak was filmed in Spain across the Community of Madrid and Segovia. Filming has already wrapped up. And the series is all set to be released globally on Netflix on February 20. With a strong cast and a haunting setting, it could be another impressive addition to the best psychological thrillers on Netflix.
