The highly-anticipated finale of The Witcher
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/] Season 3 may not be as exciting for
Henry Cavill [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] fans, as the truth
remains that seeing someone else portray Geralt is a tough pill to swallow. The
first five episodes primarily revolve around Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer on the
run, navigating through thrilling escapades. At the Academy of Aretuza, Ciri is
honing her magical abilities. While Geralt is facing the formidable challenge of
dealing with the evil Rience.

In the gripping finale of Volume 1, the malevolent mage Rience has his fate
sealed and is rendered powerless. The trio of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri devise
a clever strategy that traps him. However, the twist that leaves fans amused and
chuckling is Geralt’s unconventional approach – rather than slaying Rience, he
opts to slice off both of his hands. This unexpected turn of events has given
rise to a hilarious meme circulating, all courtesy of Geralt’s unique way of
capturing Rience.

The symbolic significance behind Geralt’s decision to cut off Rience’s hands
runs deep – by robbing the malevolent mage of his ability to wield magic. Geralt
sends a clear message to anyone who dares to pursue Ciri. However, amidst the
serious undertones, the scene has sparked a wave of hilarious reactions among
fans. Memes such as “fire fu*ked around, fire found out” and “no more ice
skating for Rience” emerged, capturing the humor and wit that Geralt’s
unconventional actions often bring to the series.

avid watchers of the series. Some were amused by the clever wit, while others
were taken aback by the spoiler-filled content.

Among the viewers, there were spirited discussions about Rience’s fate, with
certain users being certain that he would somehow find a way to escape his
predicament. They cited various theories and speculated on potential twists in
the storyline that could lead to his disappearance.

> He'll be saved in the very last moment somehow, I can't imagine they'll kill

A portion of the book readers expressed their discontent with the scene, as it
deviated from the source material, where Ciri’s ice skating moment held
monumental significance. In the books, this long-awaited scene was anticipated
by fans and held a special place in Ciri’s journey.
