Fantasy Football Ruined Our Lives, written by Giulio Carrieri, Michele Bertini Malgarini, and Roberta Breda, follows Gianni, the reigning champion of the Mai una gioia fantasy league. As he vanishes both from his wedding platform and from sending in his last lineup, chaos ensues. The rest of his team, comprising old friends and recent suspicious addition Andrea, descends into madness over group chat insults, incendiary screenshots, accusations, and even death threats. What begins as a slapstick rivalry evolves into a bizarre mystery.

It turns out that sometimes fantasy football is about something more than bragging rights; it is about revenge. Further investigation into the missing report might reveal something more sinister than one could suspect from a fantasy football group chat. As the scorecard becomes a point of pride, lives are used as pawns to secure wins and attain revenge. Meanwhile, friends shed their faces to reveal scary secrets. All in good humor, though, as the trailer promises impeccable comedic timing from the ensemble cast.
