Fans share their thoughts about Netflix promoting the highly acclaimed series Wednesday during the high tides of writers' strike.

Fans React to Netflix’s Emmy Promotion for Wednesday Amidst the Writers Strike

Netflix is back with FYSee! After being halted for the last two years due to the
pandemic, this ambitious exhibition kickstarted on Sunday. The streaming giant
always had an impressive scope when it comes to presenting potential contenders.
The company knows how to put on a great show for voters and give them a chance
to experience the on-screen drama live. Just like that, they have brought the
biggest heart-winning drama Wednesday for their 2023 Emmy campaigns.

Now fans are reacting to this Emmy stunt amidst the writers’ strike that
surrounded the leading face of the show with scrutiny and criticism.

NETFLIX’S WEDNESDAY READY TO TAKE OVER THE NOMINEE LIST OF EMMY AWARDS

According to the Hollywood Reporter
[https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/emmys-2023-netflix-wednesday-stunt-fysee-space-1235391830/],
Netflix has chosen a Wednesday-themed exhibition this time to promote its
numerous Emmy hopefuls. The attendees will get the chance to relish in the
supernatural world of the Addams Family. The campaign includes the horror comedy
trio, Wednesday Addams, Thing, and the family’s classic black car, ready to
enrapture voters and tastemakers.

This is the first time that FYSee Space will run for a whole month. The streamer
brought guests an immersive experience with glimpses of the Nevermore Academy
and the iconic window designed by Enid. Unfortunately, it appears that all these
efforts made by the streamer might go to waste.

Following the backlash Jenna Ortega received from the writers’ union, people
seem to have become less obsessed with the show. Now they are reacting to the
campaign Netflix is running for the series to get nominated at the Emmys.

FANS DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE ADDAMS FAMILY AT EMMY AWARDS

We all remember how viewers went gaga over the spinoff show of the iconic Addams
Family that depicted their daughter as a teenager. From dance sequences to
cosplays, fans celebrated every single moment of the show. They thoroughly
supported the young actress when she stepped on the red carpet of the 2023
Golden Globes

However, the same fandom is now backing out saying that the show and cast do not
deserve Emmy even though it was quite thrilling.

The general sentiment among the audience seems to be that Wednesday is not a
show that should get an Emmy nomination. But what is your take?
