on the edge of their seats for a long time now, anticipating the fifth and final
season. However, the show continued to get delayed due to the writers and the
SAG-AFTRA strike. Though the writers left the pickets one month back with a
tentative deal, actors continued to fight for their rights. Fortunately, only
hours back, good news came and with that, the show dropped a hint at season 5
production which has set the internet ablaze.

Stranger Things Writers account on X, formerly Twitter, reshared a post of
Deadline Hollywood with a message. The video revealed actors and production
houses have finally come to an agreement. As of 12:01 a.m. (PST) on November 9,
the SAG-AFTRA union officially ended the strike and suspended all the picket
locations. So the team of the Netflix show did not waste time and turned to
their followers writing “And here we go!“.

The shooting of season 5 was originally set for May and has been delayed for
seven months. But this resolution of the strike has opened the way for the
creators. Now the filming can get underway as Shawn Levy promised fans
previously they will get back to the sets sometime after actors leave the
