As Netflix fills its release schedule with older shows to replace expired ones, the streaming giant also has major plans for a Netflix original, with a definitive second season currently on the move. The series in discussion is The Vince Staples Show, created by Vince Staples and Kenya Barris, which was added to Netflix’s catalog of biographies in February this year. Since the show got the green light for a second installment, fans have been sent straight into a frenzy, albeit with a significant demand. 

In an exclusive statement on the renewal to Tudum.com, Vince Staples announced “The Vince Staples Show is back!” on May 30. Thanking Netflix for the go-ahead, Staples asked his beloved fans to buckle up their seatbelts as the series enters its second run on the streaming giant. The first season consisted of five episodes, but throughout those, the series became a rollercoaster ride for fans, sometimes tapping the emotional and other times, revealing its fun side.

Since each story is presented through a satirical lens, the show became a quick hit with the subscribers. Upon season one’s premiere, hence, Staples even informed the possibility of its expansion in the future. True to his promise, The Vince Staples Show is now confirmed for a second season and fans already have put their demands in place.
