What she finds there upon arrival is actually Valeria's unexpected, hasty engagement to Manu, a Frenchman, and their choice to invest their money in a high-quality bed-and-breakfast. Suspicion engulfs Lilli, prompting her to do more digging, where she crosses paths with Tom, an enigmatic nightclub owner. 

Lilli and Tom, who meet on the island of Mallorca, start an intensely passionate love affair as their attraction sputters like water droplets on a heated pan. However, soon their affair turns out to have sinister conspiracy undertones as secrets and mysteries take the wheel of the plot, thickening it to a nail-biting adventure. The producers of acclaimed German Netflix series Dark and Crooks, Wiedemann & Berg, created the film, which propels expectations of this psychological thriller to new heights.

Thomas Kretschmann (King Kong), Antje Traue (Man of Steel), Victor Meutelet (L’Ordre Pourpre), Tijan Marei (Who Am I), Lucía Barrado (Desaparecidos), Anton Kostov (Breathless), and Félix Maestro (Winning Streak) round out the cast, aiding the lead couple to help enhance the film's nail-biting tension and high emotional stakes.
