What do the critics have to say?

The Rotten Tomatoes critics scored the Netflix series with 57%. Audience scores and IMDb scores are not available at the time of publishing since the show is yet to debut on Netflix. So, the show has received mixed reviews. However, this could change after show releases.

Empire Magazine wrote in its review: “Incisive, enraging and boasting an excellent ensemble, this timely drama may be made for binge-viewing but it offers plenty of food for thought.”

Meanwhile, IndieWire feels that the show “resembles a soap opera you’d watch in order to have something on in the background. But the ultra-serious subject matter make it an impossible mindless watch.”

Decider is best for a good time, just not always, and writes, “Like any paperback novel you’d pick up at an airport newsstand, Netflix’s Anatomy of a Scandal isn’t for all time, but it does make for a good time.”

However, AwardsWatch feels the series “packs a punch as it reveals the inner lives of everyone involved in this high-profile scandal.”
