Eagle Eyed Fans Find an Interesting Discrepancy With Ryan Reynolds in His Latest Flick, ‘Spirited’

With the announcement of Deadpool 3, his fourth child, a soccer team, and being unabashedly himself. Most recently, the actor has been a part of a musical Christmas movie. And if you know anything about Ryan Reynolds it’s that he mostly likes to show off his action movies and humor.

But Reynolds is stepping into a new forte with his latest Christmas movie, Spirited. The movie has garnered positive reviews much like anything that includes Ryan Reynolds and Christmas does. However, fans have noticed a discrepancy in the holiday flick.

Ryan Reynolds fans turn Sherlock Holmes after the release of Spirited

The past week saw the release of the iconic Christmas Carol being remade. Sean Anders put all his genius to work to tell the evergreen Charles Dickens’ Christmas novel in a new light. Starring veteran actors such as Ryan Reynolds and Sean Anders in leading roles, the holiday flick follows a media consultant who gets a chance to redeem himself during the jolly season.

It is all magical and musical, and unlike anything, you have seen Reynolds in so far. Additionally, Spirited was released on AppleTV+, and looks like Reynolds can finally get a break from watching Frozen for the umpteenth time during Christmas. The movie is one of the first Christmas-themed movies this year to receive a warm welcome from fans. Fans of the Green Lantern actor especially were delighted to see the actor take on something new. His wife, Blake Lively was.

Good storytelling and Christmas spirit aside, fans noticed something that just did not add up. In the poster of the movie, which has Reynolds sporting red and Will Ferell wearing a green suit, fans noticed that the Deadpool actor has a beard. But the catch is, that throughout the two-hour-long movie, Reynolds is not once seen with a beard.

This does not take away from the fact that the movie was amazing but shows how observant fans of Ryan Reynolds are. The discrepancy could be explained given Reynolds’s busy schedule with all the different things he has put his foot in. It also indicates that the poster of the flick was shot at a different time.
