Unveiling the Truth Behind Freya Allan and her hair in 'The Witcher': Wig or Natural

Does Freya Allan Aka Ciri Wear a Wig in ‘The Witcher’? Here’s the Truth About It

Freya Allan’s character underwent a remarkable evolution in The Witcher’s
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/] third season, particularly in the
Korath episode, where her latent powers came to the forefront. It is not just
the transformation of the character Ciri that is intriguing, but also the way
Freya Allan embodied this change. If one were to closely observe, the stark
contrast between Season 1 and Season 2 Ciri would almost make it seem like a
complete recast.

Beyond her distinctive eyebrows, it is her hair that truly captivates attention.
Considering Allan’s natural hair, the mystery looms about her character, Ciri’s
hair. Does she don a wig? Unraveling the truth behind this follicular enigma
adds to the intrigue.

FREYA ALLAN AND HER HAIR IN THE WITCHER: A WIG?

During viewers’ initial encounter with the Lion Cub of Cintra in Season 1, she
sported bleached eyebrows and an intricate American doll hair wig. As the story
progressed, her natural eyebrows emerged, albeit groomed and slightly
over-plucked. Her hair also carried a weighty presence, casting a shade of
artificiality. The question lingers: does Allan don a wig? The Witcher seems to
suggest so, but reality paints a different picture. Season 2 unveiled her with
entirely blonde and voluminous hair, which almost seemed like a meticulously
crafted wig. Much like Henry Cavill’s

As per Kotaku

Ciri sports a natural look adorned with soft tendrils and elegantly tucked
braids, accompanied by delicate wisps. While the production remains rather mum
about her hairpiece, the stark contrast between her on-screen and real-life hair
gives rise to a wig-like impression. The enchanting hue of her white-blonde hair
further solidifies this notion, aligning her appearance with that of a Witcher,
whose hair famously turns white as a result of the trials and tribulations they
endure.

When it comes to Ciri’s appearance, there were striking differences between her
looks in Season 1 and Season 2. What exactly changed?

THE EVOLUTION OF CIRI’S LOOK IN THE WITCHER SEASON 2

Ciri’s character has undergone such a remarkable transformation that it almost
feels like a complete recasting. The evolution from being the sheltered princess
of Cintra to emerging as a fierce warrior has been truly remarkable. Notably,
the makeup changes in Season 2 steered away from the ghostly appearance of an
elven child, while her eyebrows were given a more natural and subtle hue.

Another noticeable change was in her age. Due to the delays Season 2 faced,
Allan had a growth spurt, which naturally altered her character’s appearance a
bit. With her natural blonde hair and hazel eyes, Allan’s transformation became
even more apparent. As the initial shoots for Season 2 were postponed due to
COVID, the English actress had matured by the time filming began. These various
factors contributed to the differences in Ciri’s look in Season 2.
