It took seven long years to bring Daredevil back to the screens after we last saw the beloved vigilante hang up his boots for crossing a line. The sequel series, Daredevil: Born Again, fought many tough battles before it was finally released in 2025. For instance, the whole thing had to be reshot after already filming six episodes over creative differences. 

Now, the red devil is ready to save New York in a new season that will see the story continue after season 1’s cliffhanger.

The wait is finally over, and the daring vigilante is going to return to Hell’s Kitchen to fight evil. Disney+ will launch Season 2 on March 24 at 6 p.m. PT. There will be a total of eight episodes in Season 2, dropping on a weekly basis, even though earlier rumors hinted at a potential binge-drop. According to Comic Book Club, Disney+ has not yet announced a release schedule, but if they do, it must look something like this:

Again, these are just tentative dates, and the actual dates are yet to be released by the streaming giant. While everyone waits for the announcement, a teaser for the second season has already been dropped, which shows chaos and mayhem everywhere with Kingpin and Daredevil in the middle of everything.

The new teaser also hints at who the new additions to this rebooted version of Daredevil are going to be. 

Many important characters from the first Netflix Daredevil series returned in Born Again, like Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). Most of them (except Bernthal) are set to be back as the cast of Daredevil: Born Again season 2. 

But some of the superpowered friends of Murdock (Charlie Cox), like Luke Cage and Iron Fist, were left out of the mix. Nevertheless, from the Netflix verse, Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones in Season 2. On the other hand, Luke Cage and Danny Rand/Iron Fist's fate is unknown, but Jessica Jones will definitely be back, as a glimpse of her can be seen in the new teaser.
