Cobra Kai creators chose one actor from The Karate Kid films as an irreplaceable. And it's neither of the main rivals.

Cobra Kai Creator Picks One Karate Kid Actor Who Is Absolutely Irreplaceable, and It’s Not William Zabka or Ralph Macchio

If it wasn’t for The Karate Kid, Cobra Kai
[http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/cobra-kai/] fans would not have seen this bad-a*s
show. Set in the ’80s, the original movie has its own charm, which is relatable
even today. It is possible only because of a great story portrayed by the nicest
actors in the best possible way. However, if one needs to choose a character who
could not have been played by any other actor, who would it be? The spin-off
creator, Jon Hurwitz, answers this question.

Thinking about a specific character reminds us of a lot of actors who could have
given justice to it. However, there are some actors who just can not be apart
from the character. The Karate Kid movies also have that actor that Jon Hurwitz
picked as an absolutely irreplaceable. And it is none other than Mr. Miyagi,
portrayed by Pat Morita. Teaching the art of karate to Daniel LaRusso to playing
a father figure in his life, Mr. Miyagi has a special place in the film.

Cobra Kai has created a huge impact on its viewers. The continuation of The
Karate Kid universe with the spin-off series was something fans needed. However,
it also included a new generation of kids who could relate to the show
differently. And to make sense of the Netflix show, it is important to have
background information about the movies, too. While LaRusso still kept Mr.
Miyagi alive in his spirits in the series, he became the inspiration for
Samantha LaRusso as well. Moreover, Mr. Miyagi also became the reason for many
unanswered questions of Daniel. He not only taught Daniel karate, but also gave
him priceless life lessons, too.

Now, the series is getting ready for its final chapter where we are going to see
a major face-off between the dojos. However, because of the writers’ strike, the
showmakers have halted production. Nevertheless, they promised the viewers the
final season will be extremely exciting.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE FINAL SEASON OF COBRA KAI?

Till now, we have seen the age-old rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny
Lawrence turn into becoming allies. Some kids from both dojos have also sorted
out their differences. However, there is a big question about John Kreese
getting out of jail. Finally, we will see how the show will connect all the dots
from the past and end the rivalry once and for all.

Moreover, there is also a possibility of Kreese taking up a kid from Cobra Kai
dojo

to seek revenge or he might have a change of heart. Either way, the show will
end with great and exciting turns of events. And hopefully, an ending that will
stick a cord with the fans.
