It was a crazy night for Hollywood and for the world. What took place on the stage of the Academy Awards just a few hours ago will surely go down in history as one of the most infamous moments. But let&#8217;s not delve into what happened. Instead, why not check out a stand-up by Chris Rock that deals with a lot more jokes like the one he made on the stage but with much less drama, to say the least.
<h2>Chris Rock: Tamborine</h2>
In his Netflix special Tamborine (that&#8217;s the name, not a typo), Chris covers a lot of different topics and jokes about them. He takes a dig on politics, race, bullying, and relationship, with a special focus on infidelity.
The self-analysis of his previous relationship with his ex-wife and how their marriage came to a divorce serves as the highlight of the special.

Rock speaks at length on the slow dissolution of his marriage and the acrimony of divorce in the special&#8217;s best scene, which may be one of a handful of his body of work&#8217;s defining moments. He spreads his zingers out a little more, allowing him to talk with unprecedented vulnerability and openness.
He admits to cheating on three occasions and that when his time came, he didn&#8217;t play the supportive spouse role. There is rage, primarily aimed internally in these minutes, but the overarching tone is one of optimistic redemption.
