Ben Affleck spills the beans about how he portrayed his love for direction in the upcoming Amazon Original film Air.

“Chris can attest…” – Ben Affleck Reveals How His Love for Filmmaking Comes to Life With the Amazon Studios Original Movie ‘AIR’

For years, Ben Affleck has remained famous for his enchanting presence on the
silver screen, especially for roles like Batman in DCEU and Nicholas Dunne in
Gone Girl. However, apart from acting, the American superstar has also excelled
in plenty of skills like writing, directing, and producing. Thanks to his
multiple talents that brought him not only one but two Academy Awards. Now the
actor is once again back in his director’s seat working on the vision he has
been watching for years. And he recently revealed how he brought his love for
creating films to life with Amazon Studios’ original movie AIR.

In a promotional press conference with Collider, director Ben Affleck and
writer Alex Convery talked about the makings of AIR. During the interview, the
50-year-old was asked about how he conveyed his passion for filmmaking in this
film. The interviewer also asked him why he wanted to do so many things at a
time, making things complicated.

In his response, the actor said it was quite easy for him because everyone
supported him throughout this journey. He added that the cast and crew members
were people he has known for years. Whether it is Matt Maher, Chris Messina,
Matt Damon, or Jason Bateman, all of them have worked together for a long time.
And he has immense respect and admiration for all these people who contributed
to this film. But the most shocking revelation was Affleck’s insistence on
making a movie with Messina.
