John Cena is returning to WWE Raw on Netflix next week, just days before Crown Jewel 2026. The 17-time World Champion retired in December 2025, losing to Gunther by submission at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He has since ruled out any physical return, which means the comeback will happen without a single bell. Brooklyn is already stretching its vocal cords, and fans have been told to clear their Monday evening.

While the news has fans circling their calendars, the real planning begins with an oddly early start time and a Brooklyn arena that needs to be ready by dinner.

John Cena returns to WWE Raw on Monday, November 2, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, his first Raw appearance since retiring. His previous Raw stop came on November 17, 2025, at Madison Square Garden.

“CENA IS BACK 🫡” the X post said.

The post continued, “John Cena returns to #WWERaw NEXT WEEK in Brooklyn SPECIAL START TIME 6 ET/3 PT only on @netflix!”

The special start time sits two hours ahead of the usual slot.

@WWE announced the return on the October 26 WWE Raw before amplifying it online. The early start makes room for a SmackDown taping at the same arena that night. Solo Sikoa will face Royce Keys, and this WWE Raw is the last stop before Crown Jewel in Riyadh on November 7. Cena last appeared on WWE television at Backlash on May 9 in Tampa, where he announced the John Cena Classic for December.

While WWE sorts out a Monday card and a December fan vote, Cena has a movie calendar that never rests.

John Cena has traded the ring for film sets. Matchbox: The Movie premiered on October 5 and arrived on Apple TV on October 9, with Cena playing undercover CIA agent Sean Walker in a global chase for a stolen nuclear weapon. The Family Disappears starts filming in Atlanta on November 10, with David Harbour as co-lead. One Attempt Remaining pairs Cena with Jennifer Garner as exes chasing a forgotten crypto password.

The Leading Man adapts an Oni Press comic, with Cena as a vain action star and Kevin Hart as a co-star who turns out to be a real agent. Stuntnuts: The Movie, a meta action comedy, is in post-production. The Janson Directive adapts a 2002 Robert Ludlum novel, with Cena as Paul Janson, a former Navy SEAL who is framed. Hollywood may keep him busy, but on November 2, Cena swaps the call sheet for a WWE Raw crowd in Brooklyn.
