“Cavill knows more than….” – Anya Chalotra Praises Henry Cavill for His Knowledge of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Books

Henry Cavill [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] is perhaps one of the
most knowledgeable actors in the industry today. Fans are no strangers to the
huge nerd the British actor is. Even before landing the role of Geralt in The
Witcher [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/], the 40-year-old was a big
fan of the franchise. Not only did it help the actor secure the part in the
series, the knowledge of the books greatly improved Cavill’s performance
on-screen. Interestingly, the cast of the show were also in awe of Cavill’s love
for the lore and recently co-star Anya Chalotra praised him for the same.

Not long ago, season 3 of The Witcher made its way to the screens. With part 2
of season 3 mere days away, fans are eager to see Cavill’s last outing as the
Geralt of Rivia. As the actor plans to grace the television for the last time as
Geralt, Yennefer a.k.a Anya Chaltora revealed how she felt working alongside the
actor. The actress praised the Enola Holmes star’s passion and knowledge of the
source material. In a conversation with Variety, Chalotra revealed

“Cavill knows more than anyone about the world of The Witcher, and all the rules
and regulations and the terms and Witcher knowledge — he’s up there.”

She described working alongside Cavill as a breath of fresh air. The actress
even expressed her gratitude, calling it a blessing. Being the wonderful
co-star, the Superman star also guided other cast members throughout the show.
Meanwhile, he also made a wonderful pair with Chalotra on-screen. Not long ago,
the duo’s romantic scene from season 3 took the internet by storm

Elsewhere in the interview, the actress even revealed how it would feel like
following Cavill’s exit from the show. Explaining her feelings, Chalotra
admitted that season 4 would be a strange experience without the British actor.
However, Chalotra is equally excited to work with Liam Hemsworth. It might
surprise you, but Cavill’s knowledge of The Witcher also helped him off the
screens.

HOW HENRY CAVILL HELPED THE WITCHER APART FROM ACTING?

Henry Cavill undeniably did an incredible job as the Geralt. The actor played
the part flawlessly and delivered one of his most memorable performances.
However, it might surprise you to know that the Enola Holmes star also had a
huge contribution beyond the screens as well.

Not long ago, the stunt director of the series Wolfgang Stegemann in an
interview revealed how the British actor helped him during the filming

Stegemann reckoned that he and Cavill both sat down together to analyze the
scenes and the actor even assisted him in finding the right angles. Moreover, he
labeled the actor as his “second fight coordinator.”
