Since Andrzej Sapkowski’s books clearly avenue three different timelines for its
three pivotal players, Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer, the POV of flashback could
explain Geralt’s recast. Simultaneously, it could bring the scenes from the
previous installments featuring Filavandrel, keeping in mind the complex
relationship between him and Geralt. As Tomek Baginski and Steve Gaub also have
plans to tell the story from several POVs, Filavandrel’s recurrence could make

teaser show of POVs in full throttle to pick up a storyline based on books in
the far-off future. There, Nimue is a girl who is told of the legends of Geralt
by Stribog, whose face of Geralt is of Henry Cavill. However, when Nimue goes to
find the man from the legends, he finds the Geralt played by Hemsworth. Although
it is yet to be made out how Filavandrel’s potential return could impact these
characters, the makers will probably clear that air in season 4.
