'Blue Therapy' Cast: Who Are The Couples Taking on The Therapy Docuseries on Netflix

But in real-life, several extramural factors chime in to ensure or worsen the survival of a love, fragile enough to be gone with the slightest storm. Netflix's relationship documentary series Blue Therapy showcases actual couples in a therapy session where they disclose their unresolved conflicts and hidden information, and their emotional distress. 

The show features seven couples who need to face their relationship problems through therapy sessions, which seasoned therapist Karen Doherty presides over. What documentable trouble in paradise do these couples bring to the table?

Daisy and Jay, with their future disagreements: They maintain their relationship as parents to their young child, yet their past conflicts and trust issues continue to create fissures of doubt between them.

Maria and Viktor misaligned on marriage, culture, and commitment: The couple, who have been together for several years, experience cultural conflicts and commitment issues.

Mike and Yas face money problems: Engaged couple Mike and Yas, who raise a child together, face financial secrecy problems, which endanger both their engagement and their family relationship security.

Debbie and Kelvin feel a loss of connection: The relationship between Debbie and Kelvin suffers from an unequal dynamic after five years. This is because Kelvin needs to work at his restaurant while Debbie feels emotionally deserted and undervalued. 

Dami and Jermaine bring their 12 years of relationship baggage: They have been together for over a decade and have children together, now they try to rebuild their connection after experiencing emotional distance during their domestic life. 

Junior and Carmen put their 20 years of history at risk: The childhood sweethearts with their long shared history, three children, and poor communication must confront recurring conflicts that could jeopardize their family. 

Mons and Shay have three in their relationship: Between Mons and Shay, they have the weakest connection after two years because they deal with ongoing infidelity and trust issues.

Adapted from Andy Amadi's viral 2021 YouTube show, Trend Centrl, this British docuseries features a licensed couples therapist who brings over 20 years of experience to help couples untangle their relationship adversities. The couples work through eight episodes to restore their trust, resolve their fundamental relationship problems, and determine whether their relationship should continue.

Among several unique Spring drops on the streamer, Blue Therapy premiered on March 4, 2026, and is now available to binge on Netflix. As the couples work with therapist Karen Doherty to solve problems, the series slowly unravels hidden secrets, deep personal fears, and a case study of harmful relationship patterns. The couples face a decision to either rebuild their relationship or to end it all by moving on separately.
