'Bandi' on Netflix Cast: Check Who Is Who in the French Crime Thriller Show

Bandi feels less like a story and more like a survival war, and the one that forces a group of siblings to confront their grief, deal with life’s harsh realities, and hold on to each other at all costs. In doing so, they have to walk a fine line, making choices that seem right in the moment, sometimes illegal, and some of those even make them question their morality.

Yet the battle never really ends, as each sibling tries to lead life in their own way while supporting their family. Much like these complex characters, the actors also show a deeply moving performance, all brought together under the vision of director Eric Rochant. Now, as the show continues to rise to new heights on Netflix, here is a closer look at the cast.

And the cast’s powerful performances, paired with brilliant storytelling, made a strong impact, and that was evident on its debut on Netflix.

Bandi became a streaming hit on Netflix

Bandi quickly became a success on Netflix’s global streaming charts. The 8-episode crime series became the second most-watched show worldwide, just days after its debut on April 9, 2026, on Netflix. Even more impressive, the series trended in 57 countries and even held the top spot in 27 of them, including Brazil, France, Mexico, and Martinique.

The show easily surpassed some of the top shows on Netflix, such as Detective Hole, Bloodhounds, and The Cleaning Lady. However, it holds a 6.2 rating on IMDb, which although improved from its previous 5.9 score. But despite a modest rating on IMDb, audience engagement tells a completely different story.

Now, what makes Bandi impressive is its intense performance and the story focused on a family of orphaned siblings. After the unexpected passing of their mother, the siblings are forced into crime to survive and stick together. This merge of crime and drama is an easy binge.
