According to The Guardian, even when a show achieves high streaming numbers, Eleanor Biggs notes that these series often provide a silly alternative to prestige television. They frequently feature scripts that make little sense to the audience. Regarding the recent production of Run Away (current IMDB Rating 7.0/10), Biggs described the series as a bad one, while acknowledging its various narrative shortcomings.

"More twists and turns than you can shake a stick at," Eleanor Biggs wrote in The Guardian.

According to her, the adaptation of Stay Close serves as a primary example of how top-tier actors are often trapped in nonsensical suburban plots. In Fool Me Once, there is a reliance on predictable twists and lots of screen time.

And at last, she mentioned in The Guardian that the show Safe features a Surgeon looking for his missing daughter in a gated community, but it is often remembered for Michael C. Hall's questionable British accent, as well as the story's forgettable plot.

Biggs suggests that while these shows are addictive, other shows can be regarded as some of the worst television currently available.

The worst of the collection of Harlan Coben as per Eleanor Biggs

According to Eleanor Biggs, the ranking identifies Lazarus as the lowest point in the collection because it lacks the high camp flourishes that make other shows tolerable. Biggs observes that the production feels like AI slop and features a script that is absolutely dreadful in its pacing and execution. Without the usual playful elements, the brooding nature of the show becomes distressing to watch rather than providing the intended thrills for the viewer.

“I wish I could say this was better,” Eleanor Biggs wrote in The Guardian.

Other worse entries, like Shelter, suffer from including too many tangential plotlines that range from high school basketball to heavy historical themes. The Stranger was reportedly written in a very short timeframe, which perhaps explains the presence of significant plot holes.

Finally, Biggs mentioned Missing You, which focuses on a detective obsessed with the disappearance of her former partner. The story eventually shifts into a disturbing horror scenario involving torture on a remote farm. While it breaks some traditional molds for the author, it remains a dark and often dull addition to the collection.
