Meghan Markle retired from acting when she married Prince Harry in order to help him with his endeavors. While many maintained that they were happy for her as she joined the royal family, others wondered what she would do now that she was a royal. In the 2019 rendition of The Lion King, Jon Favreau took the director’s position while mega-celebrities such as Beyonce, Seth Rogen, Donald Glover, and James Earl Jones perfectly voiced the characters. In a video from The Lion King UK premiere in 2019, the couple could be seen chatting with Jon Favreau. “If anyone needs any extra voiceover work, we can make ourselves available,” Prince Harry said in the viral video. Markle further joked, “That’s really why we are here-to pitch!“.

Another snippet also appeared to show Prince Harry saying “just not Scar” as he fetched a blockbuster opportunity for Meghan Markle as a voice actor. It is clear through the video how supportive of a husband Prince Harry is and how well the Sussexes go along with most people. The highlight, however, was Beyonce watching with a small proud smile as Meghan Markle talked to The Lion King director.
