The world is made up of billions of people coming from a variety of walks of life. Yet there comes someone every few years who manages to steal the hearts of people who are likely to always be seas away from him, brings them together despite not being in the same place, and most importantly, leaves a majestic legacy for the coming generations. In 2020, the rapper’s Sunday Service was a subject of discussion for more reasons than one. However, as he held a special midnight memorial service for Kobe Bryant and his daughter, the legacy of the basketball player, his smile, and his life was all one could remember. Especially as West freestyled, “And I just broke down, broke down, broke down,”. The service was attended by Kim Kardashian, who had earlier in the day tweeted love and support out to the grieving families. While the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was only an attendee, Chance the Rapper and Kirk Franklin used their notable voice to pay tribute to the basketball legend.

Kim Kardashian, who attended the memorial service with her best friend Jonathan Cheban, opted for a muted down white dress. Being a mother herself, the Kardashian felt a great grief as she wrote a message for Vanessa Bryant to stay strong during these tough times on Twitter.

Were Kobe Bryant and Kanye West friends?

While one cannot tell what goes on behind closed doors, there was quite a clash between Kanye West and Kobe Bryant owing to the rapper’s controversial slavery comments back in 2018 when Bryant responded with “What the hell are you talking about,?“.
