For years, the streaming giant has been quietly pulling the strings to assemble the perfect cast and the story. As the production schedule draws nearer, there is plenty to know about the cast, plot, and release date. 

As of late, it is the cast that is proving to be the real leap of faith. Carefully assembled, impeccably timed, and already inviting judgment.

Now, with a few notable names of the cast revealed recently, such as the Death by Lightning star, it is no surprise that expectations for the series are soaring.

Netflix is keeping things mysterious when it comes to the cast of its live-action series, Assassin’s Creed, but a few names have already given fans plenty to talk about. One such name is Euphoria season 3 actor Toby Wallace, who is the first confirmed addition to the series. 

Joining Wallace are Death by Lightning star Laura Marcus and Lola Petticrew. Zachary Hart is also set to join the series. However, Netflix has yet to reveal any details about its characters, which only adds to the anticipation.

While fans continue to speculate about the cast and their roles, Netflix’s next big mystery surrounding the show remains its plot.

Built around a centuries-old shadow war between two secret societies, the Assassins and the Templars, the franchise has gone from strength to strength, selling over 230 million units worldwide. Now, this is no small feat.

When it comes to the upcoming series, though, details are still being kept under wraps. However, the streaming giant has revealed that the show is inspired by the games. Moreover, it will introduce a new story and fresh characters, creating a seperate identity from the 2016 Assassin's Creed movie which still rests in streamers

Naturally, these intriguing details have the fans buzzing, eager to see if the series can do justice to the game as well as bring something refreshing. With anticipation running high, when will the Assassin’s Creed series arrive on the streaming giant?

Unfortunately, there is no release date for the show Assassin’s Creed, yet. However, things are clearly moving forward. The series is currently in the early stages of production, with filming expected to begin in Italy in 2026. Soon, more updates can be expected about the cast as well as the show’s release date.

The series is also in good hands with Roberto Patino and David Wiener serving as showrunners. The executive producers include Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television, and Matt O’Toole. 

If the powerhouse cast and the mystery around production are any indication, fans can expect pure adventure bliss to be added to Netflix soon.
