Anya Chalotra Pours Her Heart Out at This Saddening ‘The Witcher’ Exit, and It Is Not Henry Cavill

The Witcher [http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/] season 3 is receiving a
lot of mixed reviews about the portrayal of the story from the book. While fans
wanted more action from Henry Cavill
[http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/]‘s Geralt, others found the series
to be extremely slow. And amidst the departure of the fan-favorite actor,
another powerful character left the show. The tragic death of this character
left Anya Chalotra heartbroken.

The third season saw many things happening in the Continent. Vilgefortz betrays
the Brotherhood, which leads to a horrendous war at Aretuza. Although after the
war, a handful of mages die, Yennefer and others find out the truth about
Vilgefortz’s endeavors. They find out he kept many girls captive and killed
them. Upon this exploration, Tissaia can not stop feeling guilty for everything
that happened. Ultimately, she kills herself, while other mages are holding a
funeral for the mages. The British actress opened up about Tissaia’s demise and
revealed the world had become more lonely.

Tissaia and Yennefer shared a very special bond. Starting from a teacher-student
relationship, their relationship developed as a mother and daughter. Therefore,
Chalotra said the world would feel a lot more lonely because Yennefer would not
have Tissaia looking after her. Moreover, after Tissaia’s departure, it would be
Yennefer who would be responsible for everything.

The third season saw Yennefer taking over the role of mother for Ciri as well.
To find her and protect her, Yennefer embraces her political role as well. After
Tissaia, Yennefer will lead the group of mages, which marks a new beginning for
her, too. The 27-year-old actress also admitted, “Tissaia’s death must spark a,
kind of, truly a new beginning for Yennefer.” While The Witcher universe is
marking many new beginnings, Liam Hemsworth will continue the journey with the
new face for Geralt, too.

HOW DOES ANYA CHALOTRA FEEL ABOUT HENRY CAVILL’S EXIT AND THE HEMSWORTH ENTRY?

When the cast of the show got the news about the Man of Steel actor’s departure,
they already finished filming the season. All the actors felt pretty shocked to
hear the news. Considering Cavill as a family member, the Wanderlust actress
found it a little more difficult

However, as the show must go on, Chalotra also expressed her enthusiasm for
working with the Australian actor as well.
